What happens after saying “I do?” The early years of marriage are filled with unique challenges and opportunities for growth. This 3-session hybrid workshop is designed to equip couples married for five years or less with practical tools to build a thriving marriage.

Connect2 is an initiative by Focus on the Family Singapore to help married couples nurture and grow their relationship.
Our curriculum is based on universal values that are applicable and essential to helping marriages thrive, regardless of participants’ religious background.
This workshop is ideal for couples who have been married for less than five years.
The workshop uses interactive group coaching to help couples gain insights from others in their early years of marriage. It provides a safe space for deep, honest discussions on topics not usually covered in daily conversations, fostering a supportive community.
Yes, couples with children are welcome. Kindly make arrangements for your children during the workshop sessions. If you require childminding support for the in-person session, please email Chelsea.Cheng@family.org.sg for assistance.
To ensure positive workshop dynamics, especially during the group discussions and activities, each workshop will have a minimum of 6 couples, and a maximum of 11 couples.
We encourage you to find a time when you can both attend to get the most out of the experience. This workshop is designed to be most effective when both spouses attend together.

Jason & Shelen
Jason and Shelen have a strong passion for strengthening marriages and enriching families. They have been speaking and training in the areas of dating, marriage, and parenting. Jason and Shelen are both accredited in the PREPARE/ENRICH assessments, as well as the Taylor-Johnson Temperament Analysis, and are equipped to do marital profiling and couple assessment. They are married for over 20 years and are parents to two boys. Being effectively bilingual, they are able to deliver talks and facilitate workshops in both Mandarin and English. Coupled with their bubbly personality and outgoing nature, they are a pair of engaging and dynamic speakers from Focus on the Family.

Nelson and Gina Lee have been accredited facilitators with Focus on the Family Singapore for over a decade, beginning their involvement conducting relationship talks for tertiary students since 2011.
Driven by a passion for nurturing strong relationships, they have extensive experience in facilitating dating workshops for courting couples and pre-marital programmes for those considering marriage. They have also have led marriage retreats designed to deepen connection and commitment among married couples.
