People and Culture

The People & Culture role involves a strategic approach that aligns Human Resource functions with the organisation strategic goals and contributes to the sustainability of the organisation by enhancing our Employee Value Proposition.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement Human Capital Strategy to align human resource policies, practices and programmes with the organisation’s strategic objectives.
  • Develop and implement best practices within a Total Rewards Framework (Focus Talent Engagement), including Compensation & Benefits, Performance & Recognition, Work-Life initiatives and Learning & Development plans.
  • Ensure the People and Culture initiatives are engaging, enhance employees’ overall well-being, and are relevant to attract, retain and build the capabilities of employees.
  • Collaborate with management on performance management matters, including performance reviews, feedback, development plans and addressing employee grievances.
  • Ensure that the organisation’s HR Information Systems are up-to-date, accurate, efficient, and leverage data analytics to inform strategic HR decisions.
  • Manage all HR systems, processes and infrastructures to meet the organisation’s HR needs.
  • Stay informed of manpower laws, regulations and industry trends to proactively address HR-related risks.
  • Undertake any other projects or activities as directed by Lead, Stewardship, CEO or COO. 

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or any related field.
  • At least 5 years of related experience in a similar role. 
  • Familiarity with HR practices, HR information Systems and MOM regulations, including Employment Act, TAFEP, CPF Act, WSH Act and Retirement- Reemployment Act.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with effective mediation and negotiation skills.
  • High levels of integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Analytical and detailed with strong organizational and administrative skills.
  • Good time management and multitasking abilities to manage conflict priorities.
  • Self-initiated and flexible with teachable, can-do attitude.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.

Office Hours

  • 9:00am – 6:00pm (with an hour for lunch) from Mondays to Fridays.

Compensation & Benefits

  • This is a contract position renewable annually or with opportunity to be converted to a permanent headcount role.
  • Salary commensurate depending on experience and qualifications.
  • Candidate will be entitled to leave, insurance and all other employment benefits in accordance with the policies set by the organisation.
