Job Description:

The Corporate Communications Intern will develop skills in content creation, social media management, and branding. The intern will gain hands-on experience in copywriting, assisting in planning for campaigns, and supporting internal and external communications for a non-profit organisation.

Responsibilities:
  • Support Corp Comms team in producing content for social media channels (Ideation, copywriting and design)
  • Support in organisation projects and events (e.g. basic administration and coordination)
  • Learn how to monitor social media accounts, including content scheduling and audience engagement
  • Contribute to the development of promotional materials and branding strategies
  • Assist in internal communications, such as crafting announcements and updates for all staff
  • Undertake any projects and activities as directed by Lead, Comms
Requirements:
  • Currently pursuing at least a diploma in Communications, Marketing, Media Studies or a related field 
  • Basic use of Microsoft (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Basic use of design software (Canva, Photoshop)
  • Basic copywriting
  • Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and adapt to a dynamic work environment

Job Description:

The Outreach & Partnerships Intern will help build meaningful collaborations and gain hands-on experience in event coordination, partner engagement, and project planning while supporting impactful programs that strengthen families and communities.

Responsibilities:
  • Understand Focus’ core programs and services to engage with partner organisations and respond effectively to enquiries
  • Assist in the administration and coordination of Family Life Education programs and events
  • Support the planning and execution of key projects, ensuring smooth operations and stakeholder engagement
  • Conduct research to identify potential partners and opportunities for collaboration
  • Prepare and maintain records, reports, and communication materials for outreach activities
  • Undertake any other projects and activities as directed by the Lead
Requirements:
  • Currently pursuing at least, a either ITE/diploma in Social work, Community Development, Business, Communications, Event Management or a related field
  • Basic use of Microsoft (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Able to multitask with an eye for detail
  • Written and verbal communication skills for engaging with partners and teams
  • Able to work independently, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities

Volunteer Experience Intern

Job Description:

The Volunteer Experience Intern will help create meaningful experiences for volunteers through engagement, event coordination, and administrative support. The intern will gain hands-on experience in volunteer management, communication, and building community impact.

Responsibilities:
  • Support in executing Volunteer Management events, including Volunteer Open House, Mentor Info Sessions and Trainings
  • Support the planning and executing of Focus events and programmes
  • Manage volunteer communication platforms, including Focus Singapore’s WhatsApp Community Chat, Volunteer E-Comms, and the Focus Volunteer Experience channel on Teams
  • Support the team on any other existing and new projects pertaining to volunteer experience and events planning
  • Conduct surveys and gather feedback to improve volunteer satisfaction and programme effectiveness

Job Description:

The Programmes & Data Research Intern will have an opportunity to explore impactful data-driven insights. The intern will gain experience in research, analysis, and programme evaluation, while supporting meaningful family-centric programmes and initiatives. Additionally, the intern will develop essential skills in data management, reporting, and strategy formulation to drive positive change in the non-profit sector.

Responsibilities:
  • Research to support program development and evaluation, including gathering and analysing relevant data.
  • Assist in data entry, cleaning, and management for accurate program reporting and decision-making.
  • Compile and analyse feedback from program participants to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Plan and conduct focus groups where necessary to provide more detailed insights to quantitative research findings.
  • Use data and trends to enhance programme content and recommend strategies for improved outcomes.
Requirements:
