In today’s always-connected world, many families are experiencing a growing disconnect. While screens keep us digitally connected, they can also distract us from the people who matter most.
Kindle: Moments I See You is a campaign that encourages families to reclaim meaningful, distraction-free moments together. At its heart is a challenge many families face today: relational poverty—not a lack of love, but a lack of time, presence and genuine connection.
Studies have found that when people are on their smartphone, they are not paying as much attention to the social activity they are part of, which results in less-satisfying conversations and less-satisfying relationships. In another research, participants that used a mobile application to block internet access on their phones for 14-days experienced improvements in sustained attention, mental health as well as self-reported wellbeing.
Recognising that families are forming new habits in a connected and increasingly digital world, this campaign aims to equip and support families in cultivating healthy rhythms and daily habits that strengthen relationships and prevent relational drift.
Your support can help change this. Together, we aim to raise $200,000 through the generosity of donors and matched dollar-for-dollar by participating corporate matching partners, helping each gift go twice as far.
The funds raised will equip couples to build stronger marriages, help parents develop practical communication skills, and provide families with tools to cultivate healthy digital habits. Through programmes, resources and community initiatives that foster meaningful connections, we will help strengthen relationships and build resilience in thousands of families across Singapore.
Take the 14-Day Challenge between 15 Aug and 24 Sep. Set aside one distraction-free hour each day to reconnect with the people who matter most. Together, let’s:
Choose presence. Nurture connection. Strengthen relationships. Transform family moments—one hour at a time.
