Job Description:

The People & Culture role sits at the intersection of workforce development and employee experience, serving as the catalyst to develop and align Human Resource functions with the organisation’s strategic goals. The role ensures our team is equipped for the future of work, building a high-performing and future-ready workforce.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement Human Capital Strategy to align human resource policies, practices and programmes with the organisation’s strategic objectives.
  • Develop and implement best practices within a Total Rewards Framework (Focus Talent Engagement), including Compensation & Benefits, Performance & Recognition, Work-Life initiatives and Learning & Development plans.
  • Partner with leadership to develop and drive workforce development strategies to identify capability gaps, build critical skills, and prepare the organisation for future growth and transformation.
  • Ensure the People and Culture initiatives are engaging, enhance employees’ overall well-being, and are relevant to attract, retain and build the capabilities of employees.
  • Collaborate with management on performance management matters, including performance reviews, feedback, development plans and addressing employee grievances.
  • Manage and optimise HR systems, processes and infrastructure, leveraging data analytics to support organisational needs and inform strategic workforce decisions. 
  • Stay informed of manpower laws, regulations and industry trends to proactively address HR-related risks.
  • Undertake any other projects and activities as directed by Lead, Stewardship, COO or CEO.
Requirements:
  • Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or any related field
  • At least 5 years of related experience in a similar role.
  • Familiarity with HR practices, HR Information Systems and MOM regulations, including Employment Act, TAFEP, CPF Act, WSH Act and Retirement-Reemployment Act.
  • Experience developing and applying competency and skills frameworks to support recruitment, performance management, learning and development, and career progression; familiarity with SkillsFuture, IHRP, or equivalent frameworks is advantageous.
  • Excellent facilitation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
  • High levels of integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Analytical and detailed with strong organisational and administrative skills.
  • Good time management and multitasking abilities to manage conflicting priorities.
  • Self-initiated and flexible with teachable, can-do attitude.

Driven by a passion for nurturing strong relationships, they have extensive experience in facilitating dating workshops for courting couples and pre-marital programmes for those considering marriage. They have also have led marriage retreats designed to deepen connection and commitment among married couples.
