Profile

Samantha provides counselling and psychotherapy services to youths and adults across the developmental stages covering a wide range of behavioral and emotional issues including emerging identity issues, life direction, relationship challenges, sexual identity issues, anxiety and stress management, affective mood disorder, grief and loss, complex childhood and developmental trauma.

Undergirding Samantha’s therapeutic approach is an empathic sensitivity to each person’s unique lived experiences and struggles, being respectful and non-judging to create a welcoming safe space for the other to feel felt and heard.

Utilizing researchbased therapeutic approaches, tailored to facilitate collaborative client-centered outcomes, integrative interventions are drawn from solution focused therapy, narrative therapy, schema therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, psychodynamic psychotherapy and trauma processing therapies of attachment-focused EMDR and Brainspotting.

Samantha seeks to empower and resource her client with skills and deepening selfunderstanding towards realistic resolutions of current distresses and traumatic experiences, build inner resilience while birthing one’s potential in the unfolding of a personal growth journey.

Being a mother of two delightful adult children, Samantha firmly believes in and champions healthy marriages and families. She works with adolescents, adult individuals and couples to help foster strong secure attachment bonds, encourage exploration and sharing of deep emotional needs and to gain mastery of relationship strengthening practices of healthier communication, conflict management and deepening martial commitment. In addressing crucial marital relationship ruptures arising from alairs and addictions, Samantha’s additional training in traumatology guides her in employing a trauma-focused approach to work with couples experiencing betrayal trauma for recovery and wellness.

Nelson and Gina Lee have been accredited facilitators with Focus on the Family Singapore for over a decade, beginning their involvement conducting relationship talks for tertiary students since 2011.

Driven by a passion for nurturing strong relationships, they have extensive experience in facilitating dating workshops for courting couples and pre-marital programmes for those considering marriage. They have also have led marriage retreats designed to deepen connection and commitment among married couples.
