What happens after saying “I do?” The early years of marriage are filled with unique challenges and opportunities for growth. This 3-session hybrid workshop is designed to equip couples married for five years or less with practical tools to build a thriving marriage.

Session 1: 13 Mar 2025 (Thu), 7:00pm – 9:30pm, online on Zoom
Session 2: 20 Mar 2025 (Thu), 7:00pm – 9:30pm, online on Zoom
Session 3: 22 Mar 2025 (Sat), 9:30am – 12:30pm, in-person at the Focus Singapore office

Fee: 
Early Bird: $310 per couple (until 12 Jan 2025)
Regular Rate: $380 per couple

Cancellation Policy
There will be no refunds for cancellations or no-shows upon confirmation of registration. Request for transfer of registration to another workshop/date must be communicated via email at least 5 working days before workshop start date.

Jason and Shelen

Jason and Shelen have a strong passion for strengthening marriages and enriching families. They have been speaking and training in the areas of dating, marriage, and parenting, and have been interviewed on radio and TV on these subjects. Jason and Shelen are both accredited in the Taylor-Johnson Temperament Analysis as well as the PREPARE/ENRICH assessments, and are committed to helping couples build a life-long marriage. Coupled with their bubbly personality and outgoing nature, they are a pair of engaging and dynamic speakers from Focus on the Family.

Who should attend this workshop?

Our curriculum is based on universal values that are applicable and essential to helping marriages thrive, regardless of participants’ religious background.

This workshop is ideal for couples who have been married for less than five years.

The workshop uses interactive group coaching to help couples gain insights from others in their early years of marriage. It provides a safe space for deep, honest discussions on topics not usually covered in daily conversations, fostering a supportive community.

Yes, couples with children are welcome. Kindly make arrangements for your children during the workshop sessions. If you require childminding support for the in-person session, please email Chelsea.Cheng@family.org.sg for assistance.

To ensure positive workshop dynamics, especially during the group discussions and activities, each workshop will have a minimum of 6 couples, and a maximum of 11 couples.

We encourage you to find a time when you can both attend to get the most out of the experience. This workshop is designed to be most effective when both spouses attend together.

We encourage you and your spouse to make all necessary arrangements to ensure time is set aside for the workshop. There will be no refunds* for cancellations or no-shows.
