Job Description:

The Fundraising and Donor Engagement Intern will gain hands-on experience in donor care, fundraising events, and data management while building meaningful connections. The intern will develop essential skills in communication, profiling, and relationship management to make impact in the charity and social service sector. 

Responsibilities:

• Understand Focus’ core programs and services to effectively attend to partner needs and general market segment enquiries.
• Coordinate personalised donor care and relationship building, including conducting donor visits, calls and texts.
• Manage donations and constituent records, donor profiling and upkeep donor engagement management system.
• Assist in planning and organising corporate donor engagements, fundraising events and campaigns.
• Conduct donor profiling. 6. Undertake any other projects and activities as directed by Lead, Relations

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing or completed a diploma in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint); experience with CRM systems is a bonus.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills for data management and event planning.
• A passion for supporting non-profit causes and a willingness to learn about donor relations and engagement strategies
