Job Description:

To achieve our desired fundraising outcomes and strengthen donor care, the candidate will be responsible for growing our fundraising efforts through donor engagement, corporate partnerships, fundraising events and campaigns. The candidate will also initiate meaningful touchpoints with strategic partners and generate leads for collaboration.  

Responsibilities:
  • Understand Focus’ core programmes and services to provide timely and accurate reports of impact measurement and outcomes to donors and partners.
  • Work with Lead, Relations and Partnerships to plan, forecast and manage overall Relations budget.
  • Manage, develop and organise fundraising initiatives and events to achieve fundraising goals.
  • Initiate, build and manage relationships with strategic constituent donors and partners.
  • Formulate, lead and direct donor care strategy to build and raise donors and partners for sustained collaboration.
  • Project, forecast and develop growth potentials for fundraising and partnership campaigns.
  • Source for and pursue grant applications, manage approved grants and funds in collaboration with other departments to build financial stability.
  • Undertake and other projects and activities as directed by Lead, Relations and Partnerships.
Requirements:
  • Minimally a Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of proven experience in a fundraising, corporate partnerships, or donor relations, preferably in the non-profit sector.
  • Exceptional writing and communication skills with a creative edge and a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong conversational and networking skills.
  • Strong analytical skills using metrics and digital systems and tools.
  • Highly collaborative and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
  • Emotional intelligence and adaptability to build relationships across different categories of stakeholders.
  • Self-initiated and resilient with high integrity and ethical conduct.

Communications & Digital Strategy

Job Description:

The candidate will optimise innovation in digital engagement to shape and drive our online presence. The candidate will craft compelling narratives and seamless digital experiences that captivate our constituents and enhance engagement. To strengthen our online presence in the digital space, we’re looking for a creative wordsmith with a strategic mindset to join our team.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a cohesive and consistent brand voice across all communication channels in copywriting.
  • Stay abreast with consumer trends of constituents and optimise analytics tools to derive insights that enhance constituent engagement journey.
  • Develop and implement data-driven content strategy to improve website performance metrics.
  • Lead discussions in cross-functional teams to develop digital marketing strategies that drive lead generation, constituent engagement and conversions.
  • Collaborate with Transformation team to periodically review information architecture, recommend and implement changes for optimal user experience.
  • Undertake any other projects and activities as directed by Lead, Communications and Chief, Impact.
Requirements:
  • Minimally a Diploma in Communications, Marketing, or equivalent.
  • Minimally 3 years of proven experience in a Communications, Digital Strategist/ Marketing role, preferably in the non-profit sector.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills with a creative edge and a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong understanding of digital strategy, social media, email marketing, and analytics tools.
  • Highly collaborative and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
  • Self-initiated, adaptable, creative and an energetic team player.
