The 1825 Collective is an immersive programme that gives you an opportunity to explore cultural trends and issues about family and engage with fellow peers in a safe space.
This year’s edition organised in collaboration with htht.co is titled Before You Say Yes, and invites you to explore topics that resonate with young people today.
“Do I want to commit to this person?”
“Is marriage for me?”
“What do I do if I want children but my partner doesn’t?”
Through this session, you will gain a deeper understanding of your personal values and beliefs on these topics, learn effective communication strategies for navigating challenging conversations, and access valuable resources to support your decision-making processes regarding family and relationships.
Join us for a transformative experience that equips you with the tools to make informed life choices

FamChamps is a youth movement that raises youths who believe in, live out and champion Family.
I came in rather cynical about conversations when it came to marriage. However, hearing about what a marriage should look like — oneness, practicing a culture of honour, and celebrating the small moments — helped me to reshape my thoughts and know that my future is not determined by my past! I can create a future that is different.”
I found the panel sharing very insightful and hearing different perspectives from varied age groups was very helpful. Marriage is normally thought of in a very worldly manner amongst my peers - people coming together to gain some benefits or simply a progression in life. The truth of the matter is, marriage is not compromise, but is built on sacrificial love. There is so much more a marriage can be if we choose to put the other person ahead of ourselves."
