Job Description:
The Programmes & Data Research Intern will have an opportunity to explore impactful data-driven insights. The intern will gain experience in research, analysis, and programme evaluation, while supporting meaningful family-centric programmes and initiatives. Additionally, the intern will develop essential skills in data management, reporting, and strategy formulation to drive positive change in the non-profit sector.
Responsibilities:
- Research to support program development and evaluation, including gathering and analysing relevant data.
- Assist in data entry, cleaning, and management for accurate program reporting and decision-making.
- Compile and analyse feedback from program participants to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Plan and conduct focus groups where necessary to provide more detailed insights to quantitative research findings.
- Use data and trends to enhance programme content and recommend strategies for improved outcomes.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing or completed a diploma in Statistics, Data Analytics, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- Analytical and critical thinking skills, with attention to detail in data handling and reporting.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and familiarity with data analysis tools (e.g., SPSS, Tableau, or Google Sheets) is a plus.
- Basic written and verbal communication skills for presenting findings and collaborating with teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.
- Interest in non-profit programs and a desire to contribute to meaningful social impact initiatives.
