调查:疫后新常态让爸爸有更多机会顾家 (More Opportunities for Involved Fathering in New Normal)

疫情当下,居家办公成为新常态,爸爸们在家里的时间较长,也让他们有更多机会顾家。

一项调查显示,约一半的父亲认为自己与孩子变得更亲近,而36%觉得与妻子更亲;近一半也表示自己在高警戒解封第二阶段,更多地参与家务事。

86%受访者表示享受为人父亲,意味着他们在这段期间,对家庭生活中的乐趣和挑战有了更深一层的领会。

(Translation) As working from home continues to be the norm, fathers are spending more time at home, giving them opportunities to be more involved on the home front.

In a [Focus on the Family Singapore] survey, about half of fathers surveyed felt closer to their children, while 36% felt closer to their wife. Almost half expressed that they were more involved in home-related activities during Phase 2 (Heightened Alert).

86% of survey respondents enjoy fatherhood, and feel that as a result of this season of being home, they now have a deeper appreciation for the joys and challenges of family life.
